Refurbishment work at St. Catherine’s Church, Neasden, was completed in Q4 2017. Below is a quote from Vicar, Rob Harrison, noting some of the benefits of the new space included in the delivery of the project.
“The newly formed cafe area is used by a growing number of community groups. On February 10th 2018 we held the first ever Neasden Winter Festival, in partnership with local businesses and community groups. There is a children’s ballet class there once a month. Brent Arts are now holding more regular exhibitions and now launch their exhibitions with a performance art event in the cafe area. This is just the sort of thing we hoped to be accommodating when we planned the changes. In addition, the new toilets and the kitchen facility (café area) are a great improvement for those who come to Christian worship on Sundays, and for holding meetings and groups.”
Robert Harrison, Vicar.
